Artist of the Week:: Kanye Omari West

It's only right that i start this saga off with my idol, the Louis Vuitton Don, Kanye Omari West , Mr. YeWest if you please. Kanye was born in Atlanta, GA June 8, 1977. When his parents came to the decision to divorce he moved to Chicago, IL [Chi-town, if you will]. It was in Kanye's blood to be a rebel and to speak for what he believed in. His father was a former Black Panther and his late mother a college English professor. Kanye took classes at American Academy of Art, Chicago school and later transferred to Chicago State University, where he realized the college life just wasn't for him. Kanye dropped out and perused his music career.
"He later gained fame by producing hit singles for major hip hop/R&B artists, including Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, Cam'ron, Paul Wall, Common, Mobb Deep, Jermaine Dupri, Scarface, The Game, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson and John Legend among others. He also "ghost-produced" for his mentor Deric Angelettie, according to his song 'Last Call' and the credits of Nas' 'Poppa Was a Playa.'" Now I can go on and on on this egotistical rapper/designer/artist, but i promised myself I would make this brief and short. Ya'll know the albums and if you don't look them up BUY THEM and LISTEN to them, I promise you'll love them, I know I did! Mr. West is fantastic an Idol in my eyes, God of the Game, Heart of the City, Rocafella Chain! So now that you have a little knowledge on The Louis Vuitton Don himself, learn his lyrics, and pick up his book tittle Thank You, and Your Welcome.
